Faculty Committee for International Initiatives

Mission Statement:

Consistent with Georgetown University's mission, the Faculty Committee for International Initiatives aims to enhance the University's international signature by promoting, sustaining, and creating faculty development opportunities within a global and international context. Specific aspects of the Committee's role include establishing links with peer institutions abroad, supporting short and long term faculty exchanges, encouraging and facilitating collaborative teaching and research initiatives between Georgetown faculty and colleagues at institutions around the world, creating new international initiatives, and advising on international distance education. Furthermore, the Committee serves as a liaison between all the schools at Georgetown, including the Medical Center and the Law Center.
