Time to Vote for the Dorothy Brown Award

And we Hoyas have elected six finalists for being named Georgetown's most outstanding professor!

Every year, at the outset of GU Day, The Dorothy Brown Award is presented to one outstanding faculty member by us students.  The six finalists that you have elected are truly amazing professors.  It's a tough but important choice as The Dorothy Brown Award is the highest honor Georgetown students can give a Georgetown professor.

This final round of voting will end on at midnight on Friday, April 12th.

We are now accepting submissions for the GU Day 2008 theme and T-Shirt.  See the T-Shirt Contest page for more information. Designs are due in ICC 650 or online by 4:30pm on March 28, 2008.

Every year, at the outset of GU Day, The Dorothy Brown Award is presented to one outstanding faculty member chosen by us students. Seriously, it takes 10 seconds. Think about all that time your favorite professor has spent chatting with you and grading your papers...this is a great chance to say thank you!

Have you ever had a professor that challenged you outside your comfort zone? Ever had a professor that showed remarkable interest in you and your fellow students? Ever had a professor that made you want to go to class?

Nominations for the Dorothy Brown Award are taken until March 27th. The top performing professors move on to a final round in early April.
