Dorothy Brown Award
The Dorothy Brown Award
To begin the celebration, the University community recognizes an outstanding faculty member whose contributions have helped make Georgetown an academically stimulating campus. During the ceremony held on the morning of GU Day, the winner is presented with a certificate in honor of Provost Emerita Dorothy Brown, whose service to the University extended over the course of nearly four decades both as professor and administrator.
Students are able to nominate professors who have made a significant impact on their undergraduate experience. This year, nominations will be accepted online until Monday, March 27th.
A second poll will be sent with the finalists the evening of Monday, March 31, so that students can vote online to select the Dorothy Brown Award winner!
The winner will be announced shortly thereafter.
