T-Shirt Contest
Be a VIP on Georgetown Day! No waiting with our Exclusive Fast Pass!
Remember Georgetown Day last year? All of those long lines for free food and rides? Well, imagine cutting that line... every single time. You could use your fast pass once at each table.
What? - V.I.P., or Very Important Person, status will be granted for the person who coins the theme of the day and creates the T-Shirt Design for Georgetown Day this year! That could be YOU.
How? - Oh, it's easy. You've already finished the first step!
- Go to the Georgetown Day Website, and follow the link to the T-Shirt Contest Page for rules and past winning designs.
- Think about what Georgetown means to you and your friends. What's (be it prominent or invisible) indispensable or important on campus?
- Mull it over. Discuss it with your friends and classmates.
- Coin a catchy phrase of the day.
- Google "Georgetown University logo" for a look at classic Georgetown images. (N.B.: We will not be able to use your design if it is a copyright violation of a design the university does not own as we will not be able to procure the rights before GU Day.)
- Draw / design a t-shirt design. Keep it relatively simple: it will have to be transferred into a Vector design to be used on the t-shirt.
- By 4:30 pm on April 3, 2009, deliver a paper drawing with the attached cover sheet to the Center for Student Programs (Leavey 316) or e-mail your design to guday@georgetown.edu. (Multiple submissions allowed)
Below is a preview of past designs/themes for your reference.
