Senior Staff:

Darryl E. Christmon, Vice President and Chief Finance Officer
Darryl Christmon and the Main Campus Finance Office are responsible for the development of intermediate and long range financial plans to support resource allocation, capital planning and strategic goals of the Main Campus, including developing operating and fiscal policies, administering fiscal and personnel procedures, and managing academic payroll.

Marcia B. Mintz, Associate Provost
Marcia Mintz is responsible for policy development and planning for the Main Campus with particular attention to enrollment management, to faculty affairs (staffing levels, compensation, searches, appointments, named professorships, rank and tenure, leaves, governance, Faculty Handbook, career flexibility), and to the Provost's Office interactions with the School of Foreign Service in Qatar. Her portfolio extends to include oversight of the offices of Faculty Records and Appointments, the Registrar, Undergraduate Admissions, Student Financial Services (undergraduate financial aid), the Center for Social Justice, the Center for Intercultural Education and Development, and the Main Campus Faculty Ombuds.

Marjory S. Blumenthal, Associate Provost, Academic
Marjory Blumenthal's portfolio includes campus-wide academic planning (with sustained attention to strengthening the sciences (and science and technology policy), enhancing the undergraduate curriculum, and program review), diversity, and oversight of a range of entities and programs: the International Initiatives Program and Office of International Programs; the evolution of programs for nontraditional students; the Carroll Fellows Initiative, Fellowship Secretariat, GU Research Opportunities Program (GUROP), and Honor Council; the Council of Associate Deans; the Center for New Designs in Learning and Scholarship(CNDLS); the Kennedy Institute of Ethics; Middle States Accredidation matters; and new faculty orientation.  She is the Provost's liaison to the Senior Vice President for Research, working with him to represent and advance the University's research capabilities and accomplishments.

Cynthia Chance, Ph.D., Director, Faculty Records and Appointments and Assistant Provost
Cindy Chance is the Director of  the Office of Faculty Records and Appointments, and serves as a policy expert and authoritative source of faculty affairs, academic governance, and HR-related information on the Main Campus. She serves as the Provost's Office liasion to the Office of Human Resources, and represents the Office of the Provost and the interests of Main Campus faculty and AAPs with other University offices and through participation in a variety of Main Campus and University initiatives and committees.
