Course description: Due to recent health and social injustice concerns, constituents are asking for more. More services, more information, and more insight on how their government leaders are improving service delivery and addressing disparities across underserved populations. To provide you with the current trends in the policies and technologies necessary to address their concerns, Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business and McCourt School of Public Policy along with Amazon Web Services (AWS) have partnered to bring you a no cost Government Transformation Executive Education Course.
Course structure: During the two day in-person course, professors from Georgetown’s Business and Policy schools and former federal and state government executives will engage legislators and government C-suite executives on:
- How technology is changing the way state and local governments operate, interact, and serve;
- Key public policy and technology issues governments are facing; and
- The best ways policy makers can help government leaders tackle their most pressing social and technical challenges.
Participants will have the opportunity to collaborate with their peers and engage in discussions on real-world policy and technology challenges throughout the course.
