Arun Muralidhar Publishes “GBI = Goals-Based Investing or Gimme Better Instruments?”
Professor Arun Muralidhar, McDonough School of Business, published his book GBI = Goals-Based Investing or Gimme Better Instruments? through Georgetown University’s Digital Open Access. This book offers a new paradigm on Goals-based Investing (and demonstrates the flaws of current finance theory taught to students). The book is based on pro-bono consulting work Muralidhar did with the Brazilian National Treasury to help them issue new (award-winning) bonds to improve retirement security (which is being adopted/adapted in the developed and developing world) and fund a child’s education (which has implications for challenges faced by universities like Georgetown in the current environment). The book was co-authored with Dr. Adam Kobor.
