Post-Docs and Research Fellows

A Post-Doctoral Fellow is defined as an individual who has received a doctoral degree (or equivalent) and is engaged in a temporary and defined period of mentored advanced training to enhance the professional skills and research independence needed to pursue their chosen career path.
See the Postdoctoral Fellow Policy here.

A Research Fellow supports grant funded research projects, though may not have a terminal degree, but some combination of a degree and/or experience that position them well to be hired for a specific need to work on a grant.
See the Research Fellow Framework here.
